EcoBoats Launches Electric Bus Network to Enhance Green Mobility in Montenegro
EcoBoats announced today the launch of a new electric bus network to support its expanding sustainable transport ecosystem in Montenegro.
Starting this summer, EcoBoats will operate an electric bus service connecting Tivat Airport directly to its EcoBoats water terminal, located near the airport. This initiative aims to streamline passenger transitions between air and sea travel, significantly reducing the region's carbon footprint and traffic congestion.
In addition to this airport connection, a second electric bus route will link Bazdanj pier with a bus network, enhancing accessibility across the Luštica Peninsula. The new bus line will run from Bazdanj, through the picturesque villages of Krtoli and Radovići, culminating at the luxurious Luštica Bay. This route is designed to support both residents and tourists by offering a convenient, emission-free travel option in one of Montenegro’s fastest-growing coastal destinations.
The new electric bus service is scheduled to begin operations in August 2025, during of the peak summer tuorist season. Ticketing will be integrated with the existing EcoBoats platform, allowing passengers to book combined bus and boat journeys with ease.
