CAT6

The CAT6 is a small catamaran with a length of six meters and seating six people produced by our partner Callboats. The hull is similar to larger boats, as the catamaran offer exceptional stability and low power consumption. During operation the solar panels produce enough electricity to charge the boat. This model started commercial operation in Helsinki in 2020, transporting people to an island over two summer months. While autonomous operation with passengers requires an onboard supervising captain, the CAT 6 became the world's first autonomous electric passenger boat to enter commercial service. For EcoBoats the CAT6 will be operated as an on-demand water taxi, to book appointments please contact us on email info@ecoboats.me or find the boats stationed in the Porto Novi Marina.
